Disclosure Statement

GroundWork helps organisations produce readiness documents in connection with the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 ("Martyn's Law"). We are careful to describe what the law does and does not require, accurately and without exaggeration. This statement sets out our commercial relationships and our independence plainly, so you know where you stand.

GroundWork is a private, commercial product operated by Aulter Ltd. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Security Industry Authority (SIA), the Home Office, the police, or any government body.

We build GroundWork to align with the official statutory guidance, and we refer to official resources - such as ProtectUK, the National Protective Security Authority, and the SIA - as sources of information, not as partners or endorsers. Producing a GroundWork document does not certify compliance, and no regulator has approved, reviewed, or endorsed it.

We may work with third parties - for example security firms, insurance brokers, compliance and health-and-safety consultants, trade bodies, and software providers - who refer their customers to GroundWork or who resell access to it. Where such arrangements exist, a referring or reselling partner may receive a commission or fee, or may offer GroundWork to their customers at a price they set.

These arrangements do not change the accuracy of what we tell you about the law. A partner's commission is never a reason for us, or for a reputable partner, to overstate your legal obligations. We do not enter arrangements that require us, or a partner, to misrepresent what Martyn's Law requires, or to imply a legal duty or a regulator endorsement that does not exist.

Partners who refer or resell GroundWork are not authorised to state that the law requires something it does not, to imply that GroundWork is endorsed by any regulator, or to represent themselves as acting on our behalf beyond the agreed referral or reseller arrangement.

We may advertise GroundWork online and may appear in the marketing of our partners. Where you reach us through an advertisement or a partner, the accuracy of the information we provide about the law, and the way our service works, are unaffected.

No commercial arrangement involves selling or sharing your data. We do not sell your data to partners or to anyone else. Because the sensitive contents of your document are never stored by us, they cannot be shared, sold, or used to train artificial intelligence models.
